Guten Tag! God dag! My name is Anne Strootman and I am the crafter who makes the folks costumes for the porcelain dolls.
Scan-dolls was founded over 20 years ago in our hometown of Willmar, Minnesota. In 2005, when Fay Moen decided to retire, we were able to buy her business. Since then, Scan-dolls has continued to thrive and expand throughout the Upper Midwest and across the country.
In addition to the porcelain doll line, we also carry rag dolls, American Girl dresses, viking themed gifts, books and a rotating selection of other Nordic themed gifts.
The Strootman clan includes my husband and three children (who like to help whenever they can). We enjoy traveling and meeting people at the many festivals we attend.
